"One Hundred and One Dalmatians" ("101 Dalmatians"), is a 1961 full length animated feature film by Walt Disney Productions. It was adapted from Dodie Smith's 1956 novel of the same name. It stars Rod Taylor as the voice of Pongo and Cate Bauer as the voice of Perdita; with Betty Lou Gerson as the voice of the evil and villainous Cruella de Vil. The animation of all the characters from the film was quite extraordinary. Pongo, who had a total of 72 different spots, was animated by the famed Disney artist Ollie Johnston. Nanny was also animated by Ollie Johnston and the character was voiced by Martha Wentworth.

From Walt Disney animator Andreas Deja:
"Nanny is a very sympathetic character, protecting those puppies means everything to her. She could have been handled as a much more comic type, but her loyalty to the Radcliffs and her affection for the dogs make for a warm, motherly personality."

This is a wonderful cel setup from the scene in the film when Pongo and Perdita's puppies are born. It is thought that one of the fifteen puppies, may not make it. When Roger asked Nanny how many puppies are there, she first responds with eight, then ten, eleven, thirteen, fourteen, and finally fifteen puppies! Then Nanny walks toward Pongo and Roger with a tan towel and says, "Fourteen, just fourteen, we lost one," and hands the towel containing the puppy to Roger. Roger begins to rub the puppy still wrapped in the towel and he is revived. Roger calls out to Anita and Nanny and says, "Fifteen, we still have fifteen!" This is a very rare cel of Nanny holding the revived puppy. Nanny is full figure, eyes and mouth open and you can see the open eyes of the newborn, recently revived puppy. Also, included is a full figure cel of Pongo and you can see his left eye is open. A very rare two cel setup depicting a great moment in the film.
